Chordeograph 2 was presented at the ZKM Karlsruhe. From the vision of a continuous transformation from the noisy to the unison Koenig developed new sound studies. These were performed as part of the Piano+ festival and in a performance for the 25th anniversary of the ZKM Karlsruhe. Line-laser modules were used to project score information onto the strings of the instrument. The interface for the laser control was realized in cooperation with Dr. Arnold Esper (electrical engineering), Bernd Wendt (design, project consulting) and Jonas Förster (programming) from August 2008 to September 2009.
